03/Mar/2010 Location: Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire Just a note to thank yourself and Barry (not forgetting Andy Seward et. al.) for your contribution to the "Ballad of the Miners' Strike" on Radio 2. Just listened to the show with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. Powerful stuff indeed.
Cheers,

17/Dec/2009 Location: Leicester I have just taken delivery of the Help 4 Heros CD and I have to say John, that as an ex army drummer and bugler, I didnt realy think from past works that a civilian/army co-operation CD would work too well. But both you and The Rifles have realy gone to town, above and beyond the call on this CD, with your rendition of Over the Hills and Love Farewell. This is the very best and most emotional recording of any genre I have ever played. I am now a tearfull sobbing wreck of an ex-squaddie after listening. Over the Hills was cirtainly a very, very, big suprise. Wow!
